Mentoria is really two complete products that separately or in combination. You’ll appreciate the flexibility to use one or both depending on your needs at the time.

he first part is the Student Adjustment Profile (SAP). This computer-based questionnaire helps identify a student’s problem area(s), based upon the classroom teacher’s observations. Problems range from academic difficulties to peer-social, and from health issues to problems with frustration or motivation. Covering 25 areas in all, the SAP quite literally covers all the bases. When a child is having difficulty in school -- academic, behavioral, social, or intrapersonal -- the SAP is the first step to understanding.

The second part of Mentoria is called AnswerBank^®. As the name indicates, this is where solutions are found for problems identified directly, or by the SAP profile of the student. For each of the 25 problem areas, you’ll find an Overview (general discussion, with relevant research), QuikTips (ideas to try right now), ToolChest (commercially-available materials that target the problem), and NetLinks (quality sites on the internet helpful to the issue). Busy teachers will find all they need within minutes, right at their fingertips.

The linkage between the SAP and AnswerBank is the bar-graph of SAP results shown at right. A user just clicks any bar (the most critical problems appear in red), which brings up AnswerBank’s resources for that issue. AnswerBank can also be entered directly however (i.e., that is, without completing the SAP), when needing ideas or materials in a hurry and independently of a specific student.

Mentoria is updated continuously, adding new tools and ideas and keeping internet links fresh and current. Now there’s no need to guess the “what and why” for a difficult student. Now there’s no need to search for answers and materials in a random, disorganized way. Mentoria is the 21^st Century resource for the 21^st Century educator!
